Scholarships

Our hope is that anyone who resonates with our mission and community, and who has a desire to attend, can join us at our gatherings. To that end, we offer financial assistance through three scholarships. This fund is designed to be accessible and transparent.

All requests for financial assistance are reviewed by our Scholarship Committee, and you will receive notification from them shortly after receiving your application. If you know someone who would benefit from this experience, we ask that you encourage him to apply for scholarship consideration.

If you have any questions about scholarships, please contact our Scholarship Committee.

The Hyperion Scholarship Fund

The Hyperion Scholarship Fund is named after our departed beloved brother and founder Eddy “Hyperion” Gutiérrez

This fund is internal and would be available for any Initiate or Current Student enrolled in the Apprenticeship Program to help with registration fees in attending an in-person Stone & Stang.

Requirements:
* Has not attended a Stone and Stang in the past 4 years
* Is a Initiate of the Unnamed Path or is currently enrolled in Initiate Training
* Has a financial hardship
* Must be willing to provide community service at the event

The Ravenmoon Scholarship Fund

The Ravenmoon Scholarship Fund is named for one of our founding members and departed brother, John Ravenmoon.

The Unnamed Path recognizes that gay, bisexual, and transgender men sometimes struggle to integrate their sexuality and spirituality. We are more visible than ever before, but where is the acknowledgement that spirituality may be as intrinsic to our sense of identity as sexual orientation?

In response, we offer financial assistance as an offering to any man who loves men who could benefit from experiencing the collaborative energy and outpouring of the Unnamed Path brothers.

The Scholarship Committee recognizes that economic circumstances change for many reasons, whether it’s a long-standing hardship or a sudden life change. The Ravenmoon Scholarship is designed to help offset the cost of a gathering so that attending Stone & Stang does not impose undue financial hardship. Financial assistance may be available for travel as well.

This fund would be for any initiated brother of the Unnamed Path to help with registration fees in attending an in-person Stone & Stang.

Requirements:
* Has not attended a Stone and Stang in the past 4 years
* Identifies as part of the Men Who Love Men community
* Has a financial hardship
* Must be willing to provide community service at the event
